Job Description:
Responsible for organising, transferring and storing the computer files and data
Processing scans
Assisting with internal cuts across all shows. Communicate any relevant information regarding the placement/changes to shots in the edit to production and editorial team
Prepare incoming/outgoing data transfers
Export and deliver files as required
Performing QC checks on incoming and outgoing materials.
Running client and internal review sessions
Processing and ingesting incoming client material
Maintaining the production database (Shotgun) with frame counts and lineup notes
Communicating with the production team and artists re cut and edit changes
Liaising with the client editorial department
Point of contact for the screening room, following up with relevant departments to resolve any issues with playback
Development and maintenance of editorial pipeline including increasing efficiencies and managing updates and technical developments
Creating in house reel and managing associated data including: company reels, department reels, technical breakdowns and awards reels

Required competencies:
Understanding of the VFX process and terminology, film and digital formats, files, frame rates, resolutions, colourspace and codecs
Knowledge of Linux
Strong communication, organisation and people skills
Knowledge of timeline interface software, e.g. Avid, Premiere, Final Cut Pro and Hiero
Experience of working with Nuke and RV
Linux and Mac competent
Ability to work calmly under pressure
