The Machine Room Operator will work closely with the Manager of the Screening Room. The operator will help run the screening room for production crew screenings, PowerPoint presentations, Nickelodeon University Lectures, game nights, screenings, movies, and events. The Screening Room also provides service in the Café Area when events need assistance. These events will include pushing a 50 lb roll-out podium to the Café TV Wall for use. This person needs to be personable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• E-mail, Text, and/or Call clients daily to confirm bookings, confirm set ups, and gather media.
• Add, cancel, or make changes to bookings when needed.
• Resolve booking conflicts with clients, staff, and third-party vendors.
• Transfer files using web-based applications, nickelodeon servers, hard drives/flash drives, and DCP (Digital Cinema Packages).
• Must know the basics of Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere.
• Set Up screeners using the Christies Projector and Crestron.
• Set Up and Run Café Events for Studio Events when needed.
• Set Up wireless handheld & lavalier Microphones in the Screening Room or the Café Area when requested
• Assist Manager of the Screening Room on various set-ups.
• Ensure our screening room schedule is updated to the team and our clients.
• Must be able to do physical activity.
• After screenings – Clean walk around the room and search for left items and return them to clients immediately.
• Delete files to ensure there's room for the next screening.
• Test equipment to ensure the room is working properly.

Qualifications:
• Excellent customer service.
• Experience in a studio environment.
• Experience working with video.
• Must be time efficient, organized, and client oriented.
• Ability to troubleshoot screening room systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook Calendars.
• Mac and PC OS knowledge.
• Ability to fulfill the company's standards and values when performing scheduling tasks.
• Display kindness and be open to providing scheduling accommodations to customers, clients, or staff.
