Job Description
The Studio Technician
operates various equipment (camera, audio, visual, graphics, lighting, or digital) used for production and/or transmission.

Nexstar Media Inc.'s station, KRON4, the San Francisco Bay Area's Local News Station, seeks a Full-Time Studio Technician.

This is a full-time, union position.

RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Operation of Ross OverDrive equipment, audio board operator, stage manager or other duties as assigned to execute KRON 4 newscasts and studio productions
• 3 years related experience preferred of major market newscast and studio production experience
• Applicants must have demonstrable automated production, directing and technical directing experience
• Working knowledge of ENPS, MOS commands, Chyron, video server experience preferred
• Must be able to work all hours and days
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, seeing, hearing, computer use, sitting, climbing ladders
• This position is under primary jurisdiction of IBEW
• Management reserves the discretion to add or modify job duties as required
• Must be a self-starter, hard worker, have a great attitude, and be versatile and efficient
