Job Description

The Sales Support Specialist will serve as a key member of the Sales and Marketing team, providing support across the organization through the tasks relating to, (but not limited to) creating and crafting sales materials, collaborating with research/insights to tell client narratives. This individual will play a key role, supporting the growth and success of the team's pipeline management and overall revenue goal performance.

Please note - this role is based in Los Angeles, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the planning and execution of ad sales materials including the client facing sales narrative and collateral for outbound sales, meeting preparation, and RFP responses
• Build and manage client specific Post Campaign Summary reports and presentations to showcase the success of their campaigns
• Work with Marketing stakeholders to ensure sales materials are up to date and structured as required for the sales team's needs
• Work closely with individual sellers to develop prospecting strategies and target lists, leveraging the tools in our sales stack
• Work closely with Marketing and Sales setting priorities among daily tasks and special ad hoc requests
• Research into industry trends and insights to help educate our clients and empower our sales team and market position
• Gain a keen understanding of Stellar, Nexstar Digital's proprietary data-driven audience platform



QUALIFICATIONS
• Agency, Media or Software experiences preferred but not required
• Proven track record of success
• Base experience with technical product demos
• Excel at building relationships internally/externally to drive business, value and revenue
• Strong background in sales support and marketing with a client first mentality
• Must be proficient in computer software systems: MS Office, MS Excel, & MS PowerPoint
• Helpful if versed in Nielsen, Comscore, client insights data
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, & perform effectively under pressure & often on your own initiative
• Strong business acumen, as well as technical aptitude
• Adaptive and fast learner who can quickly understand and articulate new technologies and processes. As an innovative technology company, change is always happening to improve how we do business
