Job Description

The Revenue Analytics Director, is responsible for driving forward the digital strategy pertaining to revenue and ad operations, improving process flows /data capture, and developing new reporting and forecasting systems. Reporting to the VP of Data Operations, the Director will work closely with other data team members and partner with multiple groups, including Sales, Finance, Inventory, AdOps, and Account Management. Must have a deep understanding of digital media and a willingness to work towards creative solutions to complex problems in a  timely way. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, passionate, organized, and can operate effectively in independent and team collaboration settings. It is a unique opportunity to build the nation's largest broadcast company's revenue analytics arm and help move our business into the future. Familiarity with the broadcast industry is a plus.

Responsibilities
• Partner with the Digital Sales and Revenue Operations team to develop and execute a project roadmap that will lead to process optimization
• Work with the data team to guide data workflows, translate business requirements and scope out new product ideas to build a best-in-class revenue and sales analytics platform.
• Establish the short- and long-term needs of resource and system requirements, and management strategies required to lead and execute on critical projects
• Support Business Planning & Revenue Models (Direct Onsite Display, Video, Programmatic, Social, Branded, Email, etc.)
• Define KPIs, monitor and report business and operational metrics to see revenue opportunities (ads per visit, ARPV, etc.)
• Establish and govern digital business rules across Display, Video, Programmatic, Social, Branded Content, Email, etc. focusing on pricing, business terms, and delivery, to maximize overall revenue and yield
• Create and maintain sales and pipeline forecasting to highlight areas of growth and decline
• Lead a group of analysts responsible for developing and automating reporting that serves the business
• Collaborate with the Inventory & Yield team to create streamlined products to manage risk and evaluate campaign optimization
• Support sales and planning teams with solutions that fall outside standard digital media sales
• Identify market trends and analysis aligned to revenue opportunities
• Provide insights on business development deals for additional/new revenue opportunities

Minimum Qualifications
• 7+ years in data and analytics, market research, insights creation, and strategy development
• In-depth experience with digital media, including analytics, advertising, and audience acquisition strategies
• Strong cultural and team leadership skills
• Creative problem-solver with the ability to look beyond existing business and technology limitations to identify the ''next thing.''
• In-depth understanding of all stages of the sales lifecycle, ad booking and campaign delivery process
• Proven success in the execution/project management of large-scale data projects from inception through completion
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and experience developing marketbased research solutions
• Familiarity with Ad Servers, Order Management and Financial Systems (Google Ad Manger, Wideorbit, Salesforce, TapClicks etc)
• Team management experience strongly preferred
