Job Description
The Revenue Analyst will be a key partner in providing data analysis, delivering insights, and making recommendations regarding revenue, digital strategy, and operations. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Analytics, this person will work closely with other central data team members and partner with multiple groups, including Sales, Finance, Revenue Ops, Inventory, and Account Management.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, passionate, data-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and can operate effectively in independent and collaborative team settings. Must have a strong understanding of the digital media landscape and a willingness to work towards creative solutions to complex problems in a timely manner. It is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing data team for the nation's largest TV stations chain and help move our business into the future. Familiarity with the broadcast industry is a plus.

Responsibilities
• Support management of reporting and insights across direct and indirect ad revenue sources
• Build and monitor reports, models, and dashboards leveraging complex data sets to identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns across ad inventory and performance; track against business KPIs
• Investigate root causes for issues/anomalies for data, partner, or ad serving problems and provide solutions to stakeholders
• Develop a deep understanding of ad technology, ad products, revenue data systems, and reporting tools in order to manage day-to-day reporting requests
• Support the revenue analytics and core team to execute on a roadmap that will scale, automate, and optimize our revenue insights for the digital team
• Ensure quality assurance and accuracy across revenue sources as they get integrated into third party or centralized databases
• Work closely with Revenue Ops, Sales, and Finance teams to understand the data flows between order management, ad server, and finance systems
• Responsible for keeping analytics processes well-documented, up-to-date, and accurate

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (or relevant work experience)
• At least 3 years' experience in an ad operations, account management trafficking, or inventory analyst role; Publisher side experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Ad Servers, Order Management and Financial Systems (Google Ad Manager or similar ad server is required; Wideorbit, Salesforce, TapClicks, etc. are a plus)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, DataStudio, etc.
• High proficiency in Excel (role will be Excel heavy); proficiency in SQL is a plus
• Ability to learn quickly and independently; resourceful and adaptable
• Analytical and data-driven, with an ability to troubleshoot a problem in creative ways
• Very detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
