Reporter Multi-Media Journalist (Inland Empire)

We are looking for a Reporter/Multi-Media Journalist to cover the Inland Empire. The successful applicant will have a proven ability to enterprise stories that connect with audiences on all platforms. The position requires the MMJ to shoot, write and edit packages and vosots. Exceptional live skills are a must. This job requires the MMJ to live in Riverside County or San Bernardino County. This is a full-time staff position.
Responsibilities
• General assignment reporting
• Develop and execute enterprise content on a consistent basis
• Establish and maintain sources in Riverside County and San Bernardino County
• Cover breaking news with an appropriate sense of urgency
• Participate in community and promotional events
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• At least five years' on-air experience in a competitive news market
• Full-time residency in Riverside County or San Bernardino County
• Knowledge of newsgathering/First Amendment law and media ethics
• Adobe Premiere experience and video camera/photography skills
• Exceptional writing, speech, grammar and spelling
• Ability to report effectively during live breaking news
• Expect long periods outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to carry 25-30 pounds of equipment
• Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record
• Fluency in Spanish desired
