We are looking for a person that is research driven and loves to find the insight that data can provide; somebody that can find the stories within the data and use it to benefit our team.

This position serves as the front office representative and research support for the News and Sales departments.
• Analyzing and maintaining all research information and functions from Nielsen, ComScore, and other tools that support and enhance the sales and marketing effectiveness of our brands in the marketplace
• Provide valuable research data to Sales and News departments. For example, compiling and distributing relevant ratings facts, trends and analysis, ratings successes and challenges
• Greeting vendors and guests in person and over the phone and directing them correctly
• Gathering and sorting mail/packages
• Entering events into the Community Calendar
• Assisting with school and business closings scroll during severe weather
• Transcribing closed captioning for lifestyle show clips
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• High School diploma
• Fluency in English
• Clear and concise communication both through writing & presentation skills
• Organizational skills for daily responsibilities & special projects for sales and marketing team
• Minimum one year's experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields
• Experience with Nielsen and ComScore preferred, but we offer training as well
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners and other office equipment
