Seeking individual with outstanding copy-editing and producing skills to join the KIAH Morning News.

Candidate must be willing to work during the overnight hours. Must also have prior line producing experience in a major market. This individual must have an eye for typos and missing words. Be able to multi-task and work quickly through stories. Not only fact-checking and making sure the most up-to-date info is included in the story, but also checking grammar, full screens, and lower-thirds.

This individual will work closely with our Assistant News Director and News Director.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Minimum five years of experience producing and line producing in a major market, attention to detail and prior experience with ENPS.

Experience writing for web is a must. We are looking for a strong, innovative leader who can support, encourage, and lead a group of dynamic journalists.
