Job Description
The Newscast Producer produces 60-minute programs containing multiple stories, weather and sports segments and other content items. You will work with the Executive Producer to decide the order of stories, make format and rundown adjustments, time the show segments, communicate with anchors and reporters, and collaborate with other producers to share content.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Produces newscasts for broadcast across all platforms
• Contributes story ideas
• Writes and orders news stories
• Originates and edits scripts written by others
• Balances news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts
• Edits video
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Minimum two years' experience in some writing or producing role in a TV news operation
• Proficiency with computers
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work any shift
