Network Hub Services Director

Job Description

Nexstar Media Inc. has an immediate opening on its corporate team for a Director, Network Hub Services.

This position will have direct interaction and oversight of Nexstar's Network Master Control Hub Operations and provider/partner, providing guidance regarding workflows, vendor support as well as facilitating internal communication with all parties interacting with the networks of CW, NewsNation, Antenna TV, Rewind TV as well as:

Responsibilities:
• Principal liaison with regards to facilitating the technical acquisition and delivery of programs and commercial content, whether syndicated or live.
• Oversight of communications to network affiliates regarding affiliate technology or technical procedures.
• Daily interaction with Nexstar's Director, Broadcast Hub Services as well as Master Control service providers.
• Provide support and back-up to Nexstar's Director, Broadcast Hub Services to ensure master control hubs are operated and maintained, according to best operational and engineering practices with focus on consistency achieving day to day workflows and a superior product as we support our local markets.

Position will report directly to Nexstar's Vice President, Broadcast Hub Services.

Requirements & Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in television network operations management supervision
• Master Control Hub experience preferred
• Experience demonstrating knowledge of broadcast engineering and IT required
• This position will report directly to Nexstar's Vice President, Broadcast Hub Services.
• Excellent written and oral skills
