Nexstar Media Group's Clarksburg, West Virginia, operation – WBOY-TV – is looking for a Lifestyle Show Producer for its new weekday lifestyle show. You'll be working to launch and grow this show, overseeing daily operations, booking guests, helping to get the show out of the studio and into the field producing on location.

You'll work closely with the show hosts, as well as other staff, to create the most entertaining and locally reflective show in the market offering segments and profiles of living in North Central West Virginia while featuring local businesses throughout the area. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, writing, editing, and working with sales and client interaction. In addition, on-air confidence to being on camera is preferred as well since creative might dictate producer to make an appearance on the show to add to the production and energy of a segment, whether live or pre-produced. Occasional travel around the state and region, as well as assisting at station events and any duties assigned by station management, is required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Produce daily, lifestyle show.
• Works with Host on interviews and on-location segments.
• Edits Video.
• Interacts with viewers and users on social media.
• Works with Sales department to plan regular segments and programs.
• Attend sales calls with key clients when presenting segment and program ideas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills
• Software: ENPS, Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere and Photoshop, Bit Central.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Creative thinker who isn't afraid to try new ideas.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements: High stress environment with deadline pressures. Position will require day-to-day multi-tasking, as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously with frequent change in direction and priority. May be required to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) on occasion.
Occasional travel will be required. A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.

The employee in this position must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work near others, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions. Position may also require work in extreme outdoor temperatures.
