Job Description
Join our Creative Services staff and highlight the Colorado lifestyle and showcase some of the area's best businesses. The Lifestyle Producer/Reporter will produce and booth the show, but also has all the skills to produce, report, shoot, write, and edit segments for Colorado's Best, a sales-oriented lifestyle show.

Job Duties
• Stacks, writes and booths the Colorado's Best show
• Writes and approves scripts
• Works with hosts on interviews and on location segments
• Balances content to create compelling shows
• Arranges interviews with people who can provide information within segments
• Reviews copy and corrects errors in content, grammar and punctuation, following prescribed editorial style and formatting guidelines
• Shoots and edits client and show segments
• Highlights businesses for broadcast, describing the background and details of locations and events
• Works with paying clients to isolate vital marketing points
• Pitches lifestyle content to managers, producers and hosts that is relevant to the local community
• Discusses issues with producers and/or managers to establish priorities
• Revises work to meet approval or to fit time requirements
• Ensures that all content meets company standards for production quality
• Writes stories for the web and other eMedia platforms
• Interacts with viewers/users on social media sites
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Positive, collaborative attitude with a problem-solving outlook
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to ad lib when required
• Minimum two years experience in reporting and/or producing
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, fax machines and other office equipment
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Flexibility to work any shift

Pay Range: $55k-$65k
