Job Description
WBTW News13 is looking for our next digital journalist to join our market-leading news team. This is not an on-air position. We're looking for someone with a passion for news who will focus on print-style journalism for wbtw.com, our mobile app and social media platforms. This person will produce online copy for breaking news, crime, and other local news with opportunities for enterprise reporting. This is a writing-intensive job.

This person will also utilize data to manage homepage content curation and social media content, as well as cut newscast video for use on our online platforms.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in communications (Journalism degree preferred)
• Ability to write cleanly and concisely
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and credibility
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure scenarios
• Understanding of basic journalistic principles

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Knowledge of AP style
• Experience with FOIA requests and government accountability
• Experience with the Adobe creative suite
