Job Description
Senior Manager Communications, Nexstar Media Inc./Networks
Responsible for managing internal and external communications efforts on behalf of NewsNation. Responsibilities include:
• Write press releases, pitch letters and press materials for NewsNation talent and editorial staff.
• Pitch and secure external media placements on behalf of NewsNation
• Develop breaking news pitches for external media distribution
• Engage with internal management team and staff with regard to ongoing public relations initiatives
• Book talent radio tours with anchors and reporters at NewsNation
• Secure talent appearance opportunities at local events, panels and conferences
• Serve as liaison for WGN Radio, The Hill and The Hill TV for bookings with talent
• Provide weekly media status updates to NewsNation team
Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000
