Job Description

NewsNation is looking for an Booking Producer to join the 'Dan Abrams Live' show team. This role requires that the producer be able to assist in booking guests for the program daily and be able to produce segments when required. The Booking Producer will work in concert with the booking team and support producers.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Pitch stories with unique angles which fits the show's brand
• Conduct pre-interviews and in-depth research on a range of topics
• Identify and book guests for the show, facilitating all logistic details as needed
• Source and organize elements for show segments, coordinate with show producers
• Cultivate external relationships to help ensure topical and quality guest bookings

Requirements & Skills:
• Two plus years of editorial experience in a fast-paced environment for a national news program (broadcast, cable or digital)
• Knowledge of and passion for current events
• Strong editorial judgement and research skills
• Strong writing skills
• Willingness and ability to work under tight deadline pressures while juggling long-term bookings
• Flexibility with hours, as the news cycle and deadlines warrant
• Experience with LexisNexis, ENPS would be valuable
• A bachelor's degree is preferred

Salary Range: $72,000 - $150,000 Annualized
