This role is based in SYDNEY and is a 12 month fixed term contract, part time 2 days/week
What you'll do as a Programming Assistant:
Working across the Music Programming teams, the Programming Assistant will provide assistance with program scheduling implementation and support in covering roles as required.
Job functions will include things like:
• Ensuring the EPG is up to date and 100% accurate
• Assisting IMM with daily logs when required and the delivery of content on time & ensure LDR (Late Delivery Request forms) are updated.
• Preparing content clips for on-air promos.
• Assisting Programmers in production of programming grids when required.
• Assisting in Media Planning
• Providing administrative assistance to Music Programming team members with ad hoc tasks
• Entering contracts into WON and ensuring Programming & Acquisitions knows when runs / contract deadlines are approaching
• Assisting in channel forward planning and creation of stunts / themes and seasonal events
• Distribute weekly GFX to IMM
• First point of contact with Digital to communicate on-air promotions
What are we looking for? What's important?
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational ability
• 1+ year of experience in the media industry
• Ability to think laterally and trouble shoot problems as they arise
• Positive and committed attitude
• Results focused and accountable
• Collaborative
