Your New Role....

NetherRealm Studios, a division of WB Games Inc. seeks a talented UX copywriter to join the Mobile team behind the ''Injustice 2'' and ''Mortal Kombat Mobile'' games. The UX copywriter will work with the UI/UX Lead, fellow UX/UI Designers, Production Management and Game Designers to write clear and concise content for our mobile game. This includes the onboarding experience, interface language, navigational elements, CTAs, game content, and store promotions to help players navigate with minimal friction.

You should be familiar with mobile industry best practices and a great understanding of user experience design principles and interaction patterns.

This role can be performed remotely for candidates living in select states within the US The incumbent will be employed by Yoh Staffing and will receive salary and benefits accordingly.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• UX writing throughout the game, editing and proofreading copy as needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional team members to develop content.
• Support and maintain written aspects of our internal Wiki documentation.
• Create content best practices.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (or equivalent work experience and success).
• 2+ years of UX or instructional copywriting. ­
• Experience writing for mobile games or applications.
• Exceptional writing and communication skill.
• Ability to adapt and manage shifting priorities as projects evolve.

The Nice to Haves...
• Previous game development experience is a plus.
• Body of work showcasing your process, iterations, and final product.
• Familiarity with video games and mobile apps.
• A desire to create a strong end product.
• Strong desire to drive UX writing initiative for industry-leading games and ship the highest quality AAA games.
