We are seeking a Workplace Operations Specialist that will be a key component in the operation and maintenance of Netflix's New York facilities. This individual will utilize their stellar communication skills and customer service experience to interface with external partners and all necessary areas of the organization to maintain assets, make needed repairs, update computer systems, and maintain inventory. As part of a growing New York Workplace team, this individual will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day maintenance and repair activities of Workplace Operations. This hands-on role includes overseeing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cabling, utilities, painting, patching, digital signage, furniture and equipment set ups and reconfigurations. In alignment with our culture, this position requires and allows a full range of flexibility to stay in tune with evolving business needs.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out the maintenance and repair of Netflix NY assets, equipment, corporate facilities, and theater
• Provide an exceptional level of customer service and response time
• Monitor facility maintenance needs and manage maintenance and repair tickets, service requests, and CMMS
• Provide first tier maintenance and repair support to our NY theater
• Maintain an asset management system, including asset manuals, diagrams, costs, parts, etc.
• Schedule and manage vendor relations and service support
• Maintain preventative maintenance system
• Create and manage workflows and systems
• Maintain tools, inventory, and facility keys throughout Netflix NY & DC properties
• Partner with appropriate cross functional teams
• Assist with moves, adds, changes, disassemblies and installs
• Carry out general labor: loading/unloading, moving materials, and running errands for projects
• Assist with event facilities support (ie. set-up, breakdown, ad-hoc support, etc.)
• Maintain personal schedule to remain flexible for off hours/emergency support

Qualifications:
• 8+ years in a maintenance/facilities role in a corporate environment
• Strong electrical, mechanical and technical skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, fluid environment
• Possess competent knowledge of use and care of appropriate tools/equipment
• Proficient in reading diagrams/instructions and assemble furniture/workstations to spec
• Experience managing workload in a ticketing/project tracking system
• Computer literate
• Past experience with a CMMS and BMS
• Experience maintaining theater equipment is a plus
• Aerial Lift Certification is a plus
• Talent and/or certification in a trade such as carpentry, low voltage wiring, etc. is a plus
• HVAC technician experience/certification is a plus
