Job Description

As part of our ongoing commitment to the Nordics region and its creative industry, Netflix is opening an office in Stockholm, which will function as a regional hub and a satellite office in Copenhagen for a small team of Netflix employees with a core focus on Denmark. These will be expected to be fully operational by the second half of 2021.

As part of the EMEA Corporate Real Estate, Workplace, Safety and Security team, the successful individual will play a key role in managing both offices, ensuring effective, inclusive, and flexible workplace experiences.

The main responsibility of the Workplace team is ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations and to provide a best-in-class workplace experience for anyone coming into our spaces. The successful candidate will be proactive and creative and will be encouraged to express new ideas on improving the overall experience in the workplace, ensuring that we are using our resources to the optimum.

Netflix offers a fast-paced and expanding operation with a variety of needs. We are looking for an ambitious person that can grow and support a successful and efficient Workplace team. The role requires a hands-on and customer-focused individual who will be able to keep pace within our environment of freedom and responsibility.

The role reports to the Director of Workplace EMEA.

The role:
• Directly lead Workplace Operations & Experience teams who oversee all building operations, space planning, front office, shipping & receiving, events support, employee moves, and small construction & engineering projects.
• Closely partner and communicate proactively with site & regional leadership on any process change, service enhancement or workplace related impacts to a site.
• Drive a service delivery model across all aspects of workplace operations & experience to create consistency across the portfolio and leverage our scale for procuring goods & services.
• As a member of the EMEA Workplace leadership team, leading strategic initiatives to improve our regional workplace operation
• Build and lead an organization that ensures our real estate assets are able to support operations without business interruption.
• Financial management of workplace cost to ensure Netflix money is being spent wisely.
• Collaborate & align with regional space planning, real estate and construction teams to ensure business needs are fully understood and we are proactively delivering an overall real estate strategy that supports business objectives.
• Collaborate & align with safety & security to ensure we are constantly providing a safe & secure workplace and responding to incidents that will occur 24/7.
• Develop and manage a strong communication strategy on all levels to ensure cohesive stakeholder engagement across all sites.

• Ability to manage and grow in-house workplace teams working across multiple sites.
• Strong focus on senior stakeholder engagement and ability to build relationships at all levels.

• Strong working knowledge of technical building operations and a view as to what great looks like.
• Strong people and organizational leadership skills.
• Ability to influence decisions of key stakeholders, internal clients, and external vendors.
• Ability to make strategic decisions and implement innovative ideas in a fast paced and complex environment.
• Ability to partner closely with Finance and Talent support teams.
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into service needs and deliverables.
