Job Description
As part of the EMEA Corporate Real Estate, Workplace, Safety and Security team (CREWS), the successful individual will play a key role in managing the corporate office in Berlin.

The main responsibility of the Workplace team is ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations and experience to provide best-in-class environments to drive the business forward. The successful candidate will be proactive and creative and will be encouraged to express new ideas on improving the overall workplace, ensuring that we are using our resources to the optimum.

We are looking for an ambitious person that can grow and lead a successful and efficient and high performing Workplace team. The role requires a hands-on and colleague, stakeholder and cross-functional partner-focused individual who will be able to drive excellence within our culture.

As a member of the EMEA Workplace leadership team, the Workplace Manager will lead strategic initiatives to improve our regional workplace operations, partnering closely with CREWS functional teams to drive a service delivery model across all aspects of CREWS.

The role reports to the Director of Workplace, EMEA.

The role:
• Directly lead the Workplace Team including Operations & Experience, who oversee all building operations, moves, adds or changes, front office, employee experience, corporate logistics, events support, and small construction & engineering projects.
• Build and lead a cross functional team that ensures our real estate assets are able to support operations without business interruption.
• Develop and manage a strong communication strategy on all levels to ensure cohesive stakeholder engagement across all sites, sharing any process change, service enhancement or workplace related impacts to a site.
• Proactive financial management of workplace and real estate costs to ensure Netflix money is being spent wisely and collaboration with FinOps Partner in the region.
• Collaborate & align with regional space & occupancy planning, real estate, design & construction and Employee Health & Safety teams to ensure business needs are fully understood and we are proactively delivering an overall real estate strategy that supports business objectives.
• Collaborate & align with cross functional partners such as Talent, EHS, AV, Ntech Ops, Events, Internal Comms, Security Operations and Systems to ensure we are constantly providing a frictionless, safe & secure workplace and responding to incidents that will occur 24/7.

Qualifications:
• Proven ability to manage and grow in-house workplace teams working across multiple sites.
• Strong focus on senior stakeholder engagement and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Passionate about creating a great place for employees & visitors.
• Strong working knowledge of technical building operations and a view as to what great looks like.
• Strong people and organizational leadership skills.
• Ability to influence decisions of key stakeholders, internal clients, and external vendors.
• Ability to make strategic decisions and implement innovative ideas in a fast paced and complex environment.
• Ability to partner closely with Finance and Talent support teams.
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into service needs and deliverables.
