The Screening Operations Team facilitates a variety of screenings and reviews in Netflix's in-house facilities while providing exceptional service to Netflix's Content Creative teams and the filmmakers working on Netflix original shows. The team is committed to cultivating a creative environment, fostering filmmaker joy, and preserving artistic intent throughout the review and exhibition timeline.

We are looking for a Specialist to join our EMEA team in London to support and operate a variety of review use cases within our internal post-production and exhibition facilities.

The ideal candidate is an industry subject matter expert in post-production imaging and sound and possesses a well-rounded proficiency in the primary aspects of the fields, including science, technology, art, and technique. We are looking for a self-starting strategic thinker who can lead projects and initiatives independently and collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners.

As Part of the Screening Operations Team, You Will
• Provide excellent client and talent support, including directors, DOPs, showrunners, etc in Netflix-owned facilities.
• Facilitate and operate creative and technical (critical) reviews, including colour grade and sound mix reviews.
• Perform routine colour and audio calibration and maintenance procedures, achieving the highest level of confidence in the space to ensure an accurate playback experience.
• Oversee and support online review spaces in Netflix's partner-owned post facilities in London.
• Liaise with the internal post-production groups and outside vendors to assist with content delivery and management.
• Perform wiring, patching, and software configuration to tailor set up to accommodate the requirements of and the purposes of the shows.
• Perform triage on technology issues that arise in real time and collaborate with cross-functional teams toward issue resolution.
• Validate asset integrity on incoming media and screening material.
• Partner with the overall EMEA team to provide remote support for additional facilities in the region.

About You
• You are experienced in the field of picture and sound post-production and understand current motion picture best practices and tools.
• You have critical eyes and ears with the ability to assess the quality of a screening asset and environment, diagnose issues, and troubleshoot in real time.
• You have interacted with a variety of filmmakers and provided excellent service and support to facilitate a creative process. You understand their goals and expectations.
• You're comfortable interacting with post-production, mastering, DI, and sound professionals and are able to easily explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• You are highly organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented.
• You are committed to teamwork and strive to cultivate collaborative relationships with your colleagues.
• Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with a remote team.

Qualifications
• Prior experience in a technical support role for a production, broadcaster, or post-production facility.
• Well-rounded knowledge of digital audio and video file formats, preferably experience with IMF, Dolby Atmos, HDR and Dolby Vision.
• Operator-level proficiency with production and post-production software such as ProTools, DaVinci Resolve, and Colorfront Transkoder.
• Experience working with synchronous and asynchronous review collaboration and streaming solutions.
• Familiarity with audio, video, and data communications protocols.
• Display calibration experience, preferably with CalMAN or equivalent software.
• Familiarity with Shotgun, Avid Media Composer, Clipster, Baselight, or MTI Cortex is a plus.
• Fluent or business proficiency in English.
