Job Description
The mission of the Production Solutions team is to empower the Studio to achieve its operational goals and creative pursuits through production solutions, technology, resource assurance, and workflow optimization. This is a regional team that partners with Production teams (Production Management, Post, VFX, Music & Safety) across the APAC region to identify and address pan-regional opportunities for operational improvement and provide project management advice and support, to enable the execution of our Studio strategy on a global, regional and country level.

We are not necessarily looking for a traditional project manager. The role of managing projects at this intersection of creativity and technology is often not well-defined. We are looking for someone who not only understands the studio and industry space and challenges, but also has experience taking charge and managing projects related to it who can bring our initiatives to fruition.

The Program Specialist, will work closely with the APAC Production Solutions Director to guide the execution of projects by working to streamline and foster effective communication and alignment across country teams.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct ongoing analysis of operational support in-country and across the region and works closely with the APAC Regional Director to drive initiatives and execute core components of projects to drive operational improvement, in-country and across region.
• Support APAC Country Production Heads to keep teams updated on the status, and to roll out projects and initiatives in support of alignment, innovation, and consistent execution, in-country and regionally
• Develope and present comprehensive project plans evaluating scope, requirements, and level of effort for regional initiatives
• Work collaboratively with the APAC production solutions team on research, documentation, and logistics for their projects, which can include the creation of memos & presentation decks and coordinating meetings with Stakeholders
• Manage regional data gathering, run reports and troubleshoot to ensure high levels of data coverage
• Ensure project tasks and status are kept updated on internal productivity and collaboration tools for the APAC Production Solutions team, and maintain a repository of all documents and reference that memorializes APAC Production Solutions regional activity
• Represent the Production Solutions team internally with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting and responding to queries through team communication channels (e.g. Slack, memos etc)
• Partnering on programming internal Production Forums, which can include the creation of presentation decks and being a presenter as needed

Candidate profile:
• Candidates are required to be highly analytical and be strong, effective communicators. Candidates must be excellent at crafting, presenting, and recommendations insights to broad stakeholder groups.
• The ideal candidates will have 4+ years of experience in project management and a proven track record of data analysis, and strategic planning in a media or management consultancy environment. Familiarity with end-to-end television series and film production, especially in post & VFX in an advantage.
• This candidate must exhibit Interest in learning about data driven decision making and basics of several internal data tools and applications
• This candidate must display an ability to prioritize and multitask a high volume of tasks. S/he must be a solutions-oriented problem solver with a focus on generating impact.
• The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, detail oriented and highly organized with a knack for finding gaps and a strong will to rectify inefficiencies.
• S/he must be discreet and is able to maintain confidential information, exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
• Netflix is fast-growing with a flat organizational structure, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. The ideal candidate would have to be a self-starter, and be prepared to work with ambiguous parameters when needed. The successful candidate must be motivated, disciplined, and be able to work effectively autonomously.
• S/he must have proficiency in Google Suite and Slack (or similar project management or productivity applications) with the ability to learn and implement new tools/systems
• Fluent written and spoken English proficiency is essential. Additional language(s) a plus
• Experience working with teams across geographies and a passion for understanding languages, cultures and nuances of worldwide production practices
• A commitment to embrace and advocate for inclusion is essential, including demonstrated cross-cultural understanding and intelligence, as well as interest and ability to operate within Netflix culture and champion the culture for the team
