Tudum is a dedicated Netflix website for fan content related to Netflix TV Shows and Movies. It offers exclusive first looks and interviews covering Netflix series and films. The website represents a new push into the world of publishing, as Netflix already has several editorial and social channels like Strong Black Lead and Geeked.

The Tudum team is made up of an incredible cross-section of brilliant minds within editorial, product, design, engineering and consumer insights who together, create and deliver premium content to Netflix's most avid fans. The mission of the team is to build meaningful bonds between fans and content through new direct, personal, and vibrant experiences - operating at the intersections where world-class editorial content meets immersive experiences that put fans at the core. The team is looking to sharpen their understanding of the relationship between the website's various existing and new content formats, and the content/programming that will live inside of them.

We're looking for a talented Senior Researcher to join the Tudum team to develop and execute a research learning agenda that would include both high-level strategic and tactical research studies that explore the intersection of creative insights and product insights so that the Tudum team can better design for the nuance between content and product.

Creative thinking, an ability to look at opportunities and problems in new ways, and the boldness to try new things will be paramount. You are gifted at getting to the heart of the consumers' needs and are able to deliver insights beyond how things currently are and focus on how they should be. A hypothesis-driven mentality and excellent organizational skills are also essential.

In this role, you will:
• Develop strong collaborations with cross-functional colleagues, including Product, Design, Editorial & Publishing, Content, Language Management, Strategy, and Data Science
• Advocate for the audience insights to improve member's experience with Tudum content
• Leverage your consumer insights skills and knowledge to impact business decisions

We Are Looking For:
• Minimum of 7+ years conceptualizing and executing innovation research projects at an agency, in house, or both, in the technology, media and entertainment or consumer packaged goods industries
• Advanced degree in psychology, social sciences, communications, marketing, research or a related field is preferred but not required
• Demonstrable insights experience with culture, fandom, audiences, content, or editorial
• Experience developing and executing an annual research learning agenda and roadmap that inspires fan and editorial strategies
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and other Consumer Insights researchers in areas including Content, Marketing, Communications, Product, Design, Data Science, Social, and Brand to proactively develop research initiatives
• Strong quantitative research skills and comfort with qualitative research techniques
• Experience working with Data Science partners and incorporating behavioral data from A/B testing and other sources throughout the end-to-end research journey - from business questioning, research scoping, analysis and reporting
• A track record of thought leadership and delivering research to inform business, marketing and product development strategies and roadmaps
• Global research experience is highly desired but not required
