The Consumer Insights team at Netflix plays a crucial role in this mission by conducting research and delivering insights which enhance the member experience and elevating the voice of the consumer in business decision making. The researcher in this role will determine how to best meet our members' needs in areas including subtitles and dubbing, title localization or the language selection journey and will inspire innovation opportunities too.

We're looking for a talented Researcher who enjoys understanding global or international markets and nuances and is then able to translate these into business impact, which improves the member experience. Creative thinking, an ability to look at opportunities and problems in new ways, and the boldness to try new things will be paramount. You are gifted at getting to the heart of the member's needs and will deliver insights beyond how things currently are and focus on how they should be. A hypothesis-driven mentality and excellent organizational skills are also essential.

We Are Looking For:
• 5+ years of experience in mixed methods research, including any combination of UX or Consumer Insights
• Hands-on international research experience
• A passion for translating findings into strategic business recommendations
• Ability to define research objectives, develop research roadmaps, and synthesize insights from across studies
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Skilled communicator with a track record of successful collaborations
• Bias to action. Proactive and innovative by nature
• Experience with an A/B testing and product innovation environment preferable
• Advanced degree in research, social sciences, HCI, or related field, is preferred but not required

• Advocate for the global member needs
• Leverage your consumer insights skills and knowledge to impact business decisions
