The Production Finance Analyst is a key role in maintaining the foundational efforts of our Production Finance team. These individuals are responsible for data integrity at the source and procuring information to end-users across the studio. Analysts will stage data for our titles on a regular basis with an eye toward accuracy, completeness, and context. All financial functions run on the data for which this team is responsible. This role reports directly to a single member of our Production Finance Lead ranks and is connected to the greater Production Finance organization. This reporting structure will ensure a throughline for the PFAs and a unified growth and development plan while allowing for ample space in supporting the other Production Finance Leads and the shared projects.

Responsibilities:
• Unrelenting focus on data integrity at its source and within our GL system
• Close partnership with our Payroll department to ensure accurate labor reporting in our cost reports
• Facilitate core accounting functions for the shows they are assigned; including AP, journal entries, balance sheet maintenance, P-Card facilitation, etc.
• On a regular basis, prepare cost reports for our Production Finance Leads and present change-over period information
• Assist Production Finance Lead in cost reports & budget updates
• Perform ad-hoc analysis for titles in production to facilitate decision-making at the Producer level.
• Key point-person for data-staging in our financial systems and ensuring our workflows stay as efficient as possible.
• Documenting and providing context around specific financial workflows
• Build trust and foster collaboration with Production Finance Leads
• Enforces studio guidelines related to crew operations such as P-Card usage, AP parameters, etc.

Qualifications:
• Passion for the entertainment industry, animation, and technology
• Keen interest in understanding Animation CG Production Pipelines and broadening their Production Finance knowledge
• Naturally innovative and curious about the entire animated film ecosystem
• Comfortable getting into the weeds and reconciliation
• Ability to anticipate needs and understand order of events within their environment
• Can thrive and grow in a creative, dynamic, results-oriented environment, and is able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once
• Works autonomously and drives deliverables to timely completion

Requirements:
• 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a media/entertainment company, consulting firm, public accounting firm, within production accounting, or another applicable environment/role
• Passion for animation is a must; Exposure to visual effects or digital animation is preferred but not required
• Strong active listening skills and ability to anticipate needs
• College degree in accounting or finance is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Currently has Tableau and/or database management experience, or willing to learn
• Strong, concise written & verbal communication skills with colleagues at all levels

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $57,000 - $151,700.

This range is based on total compensation (vs. only base salary), which is in line with our compensation philosophy.
