About the Role:
We're looking for a creative self starter to work in our PR team in France. Based in Paris, you will report to our PR Director who leads our communications and PR for France.
About the Candidate:
Our PR team is responsible for raising awareness of Netflix's brand and enhancing our reputation across the region. Its mission is also to formulate and implement strategy in France for the growing slate of French and international Netflix Original titles. The PR team drives innovative PR campaigns and collaborates with cross-functional partners ( Marketing, Editorial, Content teams..).
To succeed in this role you will need:
• Minimum ten years working in Communications and PR in France with a special taste or experiences in the entertainment industry.
• A good existing network among the French new and traditional media landscape and the confidence to proactively pitch stories across all media (TV, radio and newspapers, digital).
• The ability to think from first principles and put together strategic communications plans across multiple functions - marketing and content.
• Be able & willing to think on an international level
• Very good written and oral communication skills, including in English.
• Pragmatic, organized and detailed. Has a big capacity to both think and do. Flourishes in a 'hands on' role, adding value at different levels. Is strong on detail and highly organized.
• The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• A love of entertainment and storytelling.
• Strong work ethic and Integrity. Has sound judgment, and will question actions inconsistent with company values.
• Know how to interact with talent, PR reps, and influencers to build understanding and trust of what we are trying to achieve
