About Queue:

Queue is the elevated editorial space that celebrates the people, the ideas, and the process of creating great entertainment on Netflix and beyond. Queue delivers and memorializes the business goals of the Awards team and is an integral aspect of talent relations at Netflix. The Queue ecosystem includes a print journal, digital site, newsletter, social handles as well as podcast.

We're looking for a Curation manager to support photo and video curation efforts across Queue and Tudum. This position is based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:
• Finding and curating pre existing visual content to be used across Queue and Tudum
• Managing a team of photo and video curation experts
• Responsible for building and maintaining an impactful visual direction across articles, galleries, videos and social while working in close collaboration with expert leads in those disciplines
• Working with editors, writers, designers and producers to set context, project manage & oversee all elements of the visual strategy for content plans, including managing title coverage, story packages, and overseeing the creation of the entire visual experience
• Connect dots across all components of the curation and visual teams to ensure holistic and aligned programming output across titles, talent and brand
• Building partnerships with internal Photo and AV studios to align on coverage plans and secure internal assets for stories
• Planning, programming and facilitating creative ideation sessions and meetings
• Build close partnership with Netflix Editors to input into programming strategies and editorial planning

Requirements:
• 4+ years of photo/AV research and curation experience in editorial publishing, media or entertainment
• A collaborative spirit and ability to lean on others for expertise and leadership as needed
• Good eye to note creative opportunities for potential original photography, video and/or visually driven stories
• Strong editorial judgment to mitigate risks and navigate sensitivities
• Must be a strong visual editor with a deep understanding of reporting principles, logic and structure, as well as style and tone
• Creative powerhouse with the knowledge of what makes a photo or video highly shareable and irresistible to readers
• Proven ability to generate ideas across all traditional visual mediums- photo, video, design-and emerging ones
• Excellent communication skills and experience in building and leading creative and/or editorial teams
• Strong EQ and builder of relationships across the editorial, marketing, PR & content teams at Netflix
• Astute level of prioritization and ability to work in a flexible work environment

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $65,000 - $320,000.
