The Opportunity
Our mission is to revolutionize the way on service (Product) creative is made and delivered, fueling new ways for Netflix members to discover new titles. The Creative Planning team is a driving force in establishing how we ask for creative, how we find and prime the best creative partners around the globe, and how we streamline production. Made up of a diverse team of creative industry professionals, this team is reinventing the future of Netflix product creative strategy and operations, and specific to this role, the partners and systems that drive our ability to scale the business across the globe.
We are looking for a Partner Manager to join our global team. In this role, you will help unlock the full potential of our creative partnerships including, but not limited to, creative agencies and creative freelancers, who concept and develop creative to promote Netflix titles. You will curate, cultivate and optimize creative partnerships grounded in performance insights in order to maximize business value.
This role requires creative operational know-how to translate creative ideas into effective partnership selection and enablement strategies. The right candidate knows how to drive partner performance improvements to produce optimal creative outcomes. This candidate has pre-existing relationships with top creatives and is able to work with a variety of creative partners to continually raise the bar.
Core Responsibilities
• Partner with internal strategy and creative teams to translate creative strategies and ideas into effective partnership briefs
• Lead partner curation, selection, onboarding, and the management of vendor relationships across disciplines, inclusive of: design, editorial, audio, and motion, etc.
• Establish new, diverse partner and audition pipelines based on the organization's evolving creative strategy
• Develop and optimize inclusive partnership workflows and practices as a key driver in achieving creative excellence
• Co-develop training initiatives and resources, collect partnership feedback and identify actionable recommendations to improve partner ROI
• Conduct ongoing partnership analysis & reporting to inform quarterly and annual planning
• Curate regular creative showcases to inform and enhance creativity among internal strategy and creative teams
• Keep finger on the pulse of the industry at large (outside Netflix) to gain knowledge on how to improve our partnerships
Qualifications:
• Deep experience working within a creative service provider, like a creative agency or studio, with substantial experience in Post-Production, Design, VFX
• Proven expertise in driving adoption of partner management programs for large scale creative engagements, including influencing and aligning with internal stakeholders through judgment and data
• Eye for great creative and understanding of creative industry trends; understanding why something works and why it doesn't.
• Proven demonstration of building and cultivating diverse partnerships to drive key results
• E2E understanding of how to create, manage and optimize KPIs, timelines, and budgets
• Strong ability to communicate effectively (both positive and constructive feedback) on behalf of the business to better strengthen and develop partner relationships
• Extremely High EQ: Ability to negotiate and navigate complex situations
• Project management software experience, knowledge of Airtable and Monday a plus.
• Must be fluent in Japanese or Korean
