The Opportunity

We are looking to hire a Manager to oversee our growing Talent Experiences & Gifting Team for the APAC region. This person will play an integral role in creating a program that celebrates Actors, Directors, and Producers during their business relationship with Netflix.

The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated self-starter with experience working in a fast-paced environment. This person must have a deep understanding of entertainment, be passionate about creative work, and possess high-level communication skills to interface with talent representatives and top-level studio executives. Strong project management skills are required as this role will manage internal projects, external agencies, and vendors for day-to-day gifting and special projects. The APAC Manager will be based in Seoul but will work across the APAC film and series slate.

Responsibilities
• The day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to, formulating strategies for gifting local talent that aligns with our overall business goals.
• Hiring, onboarding, and training creative agencies and partnering with them to curate and facilitate custom gifts
• Managing agencies, high-volume projects, timelines, and budgets
• Developing partnerships with internal teams and collaborating with them on day-to-day projects
• Seeking out and partnering with brands to create one-of-a-kind gifts and experiences
• Researching current trends
• Directing brainstorming meetings and creative sessions with the larger, global team
• Update and maintain various talent-related tools, databases, and trackers

Qualifications
• At least 7 years of experience in a creative, entertainment, or marketing environment
• Self-starter; Solution-driven; Strong Management Skills; Extremely organized; Impeccable attention to detail
• Passionate and in the know about global trends in gifts, luxury goods, and hot-ticket items
• Knowledgeable of above-the-line talent and talent agencies
• Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information
• Provide big-picture thinking and leadership experience with a positive attitude and collaborative team player
• A great work ethic, desire, and commitment to accept increasingly greater challenges and responsibilities
• Proficiency in Air Table, Microsoft Word, Excel, and G-Suite
• Strong copywriting skills
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean
