We are currently growing our Learning & Organization Development team within Talent. As a Manager, Learning & Organization Development, in close collaboration and partnership with various internal partners, you will support and drive the execution of the Global Learning & Organization Development strategy and all things learning for the Product Organization! Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Organization Development (Team Growth, Skills Development, Team Effectiveness, Leadership Development)
• Creating, leveraging, and implementing organization development interventions across the business function that you support.
• Working autonomously to partner with the Human Resources Business Partner(HRBP) to design and facilitate team building/effectiveness interventions
• Collaborating with HRBPs and Inclusion & Diversity partners to support change management, business, and cultural transformation efforts
Learning and Development (Instructional Design + Program Management + Facilitation)
• Partnering closely with leadership and HRBPs to identify and align on learning needs, strategies and tactics.
• Partnering across our learning teams in the design and development of solutions. And leading the implementation of learning strategies that will address business needs.
• Identifying learning needs as well as helping to navigate Netflix's unique culture.
• Facilitating learning and development across multiple delivery mediums, including in-person training, virtual training, e-learning, and other innovative strategies designed to create and assess impact and success
• Strong ''stage presence'' and solid command of audiences large and small. Comfortable facilitating discussions on ambiguous or challenging topics.
• Can unify/focus a room to gain buy-in and consensus on highly contentious subjects while keeping participants engaged and supported
Learning Advisor / Consultant / Business Partner
• Building relationships across talent partners and functional subject matter experts
• Deep understanding of the nuances within cross-functional partnerships and managing expectations
• Recognize the impact of individual performance, team performance, management & leadership performance, and the role learning plays.
• When needed, perform needs assessments and analyses to identify opportunities to address and improve gaps in behavior-based, skill-based, and knowledge-based competencies.
• Setting clear expectations for the development and implementation of learning and organization development solutions with stakeholders and partners
• A trusted advisor and thought partner to functional/organizational leadership and HRBPs.
• Deep understanding of prioritization and knows how and when to ''push back''
Requirements for the role:
• Deep knowledge and passion for experience design
• Experience in ''Training'', Human Resources Leadership Development, Talent Development / Talent Management, Organizational Development or related fields
• Understanding of instructional design/adult learning principles to deliver learning and organization development programs and interventions
• Strong project planning, project and program management, and project integration skills.
• Experience using survey and assessment tools to identify business needs and measure the effectiveness of solutions.
• Proven exceptional group process and facilitation skills.
• Experience in learning tools and technology is a plus!
