We're looking for an Indirect Tax Manager to join our EMEA Tax Team, reporting to the EMEA Tax Director based in Amsterdam. The Indirect Tax Manager will provide indirect tax planning and analytical support. The ideal candidate will have a strong fit with the Netflix values and culture, significant indirect tax experience, excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Provide support in partnering with cross-functional internal (accounting, engineering, legal, finance, treasury, etc.) and external (advisors, authorities) stakeholders on indirect tax matters
• Support and analyze the indirect tax aspects of our EMEA business and expansion, including planning and corporate structuring - with an emphasis on our local content production activities and customs/logistics operations
• Research complex indirect tax issues, prepare technical documentation and assist on the indirect tax aspects of special projects
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure key indirect tax deal terms are consistent with our global tax structure and our global tax position
• Monitor proposed changes to indirect tax law and regulations in the EMEA region
• Support the indirect tax aspects of audits in the EMEA region

Qualifications:
• Relevant education, such as a Law degree (LL.M or MSc) or CPA equivalent and/or advanced degree in Taxation, Economics or Business Administration with Taxation elements preferred
• Substantial indirect tax experience from a larger tax firm and/or corporate environment (preferably in the tech and/or entertainment industry)
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with EMEA indirect tax advisory and accounting
• Self-starter with ability to juggle multiple projects and produce high quality work product in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact cross-functionally internally and externally with stakeholders
