We are Netflix's Marketing Editorial & Publishing team. A team of storytellers, social media strategists, editors, producers and journalists, all of us huge fans of entertainment. We're creating a whole new approach to talking about entertainment. We make content that celebrates our shows and talents and brings communities together over shared passions. Though part of the larger marketing organization, our team's work is unique in that we express a perspective on content the way a media outlet would.
You'll be creating recurring content for our fans to talk about our Netflix Brand, Shows and Talents, and have a great skill for bringing these stories and narratives into the news cycle and social zeitgeist through best in class creative. You will be responsible for strategizing, ideating and producing for our AV programming slate. With a deep focus on episodic content across our @NetflixFR social media ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creative Strategies and Development
*Contribute to Netflix France Publishing strategy on our social media channels
*Develop the Publishing grid and unique tone of voice of Netflix beyond the paywall
*Create AV recurring formats
*Lead brainstorms, give creative notes and final approval
• Creative Production
*Determine the production infrastructure needed for execution of creative vision including vendor selection, physical shoot and post production
*Develop cross functional relationships and partner with internal stakeholders
*Build and manage budget
*Develop a success evaluation timeframe
The ideal candidate is/has....
• You have worked in content creation at a Publishing outlet for a minimum of 8 years or you have equivalent exposure to relevant projects
• You have a track record of best in class Publishing format creation. You have proven ability to conceptualize and produce high quality episodic AV formats that impact audiences
• You are seeking for creative excellence
• You have an understanding of high level producing and hands on production as the role will require a range of approaches to pilot new formats, establish regular cadence and produce creative at scale
• You have a sophisticated understanding of social media and social analytics
• You navigate Pop Culture and have good intuition about what gets shared and talked about
• You are business minded and a risk-taker entrepreneur with high sense of responsibility
• You have worked with talents and understand the dos and donts of talent management
• You are skilled in pitching and presenting
• You have capacity to accomplish solid amounts in a fast paced ever changing environment
• You understand and respect Netflix culture
