Job Description
The Corporate Strategy Planning & Analysis (SP&A) team at Netflix is a centralized function that is highly aligned and deeply entrenched within departments throughout the company, partnering with senior leaders in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. We believe that we derive a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach we take to managing the company. The Corporate SP&A Manager will play a key role in driving analytics that guides critical business decisions, providing actionable insights, strategic analysis, and accurate forecasts.

The main focus for this SP&A Manager will be supporting our global Talent team. The Talent team focuses on providing pre and post-hire support in new employee onboarding, mobility & benefits, role changes, and offboarding. As we continue to expand our global subscriber footprint, our organization becomes more complex, and senior leaders depend on SP&A to provide analytical support and strategic insights.

Successful candidates are committed to action, have exceptional communication and partnership skills, and have the know-how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. The position reports to the Director of Corporate SP&A - Talent and can be based in Los Gatos or Los Angeles.

• Drive the financial planning processes related to headcount planning and people cost forecasting for Talent and help stakeholders gain key insights into spending with meaningful analyses and trends
• Define metrics & reporting tools for Talent to improve visibility into headcount, hiring plans, and people costs to enable better business decisions

• 8+ years of relevant experience – ideally a combination in areas such as HR strategy/analytics, corporate finance, management consulting, and strategic workforce planning
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including proactive partnering and consulting, with a proven ability to collaborate with and achieve results through others
• Ability to handle ambiguity and change, as well as balance multiple priorities concurrently
• High preference for someone with experience using analytic, business intelligence, and/or data mining tools
• Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly, and independently manage complex project objectives
• Strong strategic and analytical thinker able to structure and independently drive strategic workforce planning/programs in collaboration with HR (Talent), SP&A, and business leaders.
• Experience leading projects and initiatives in strategy, business operations, financial planning, or quantitative analytics, preferably in a workforce planning or strategic HR role
