The Consumer Products & Experiences Strategy, Planning & Analysis group is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. This role will be a critical and integrated business partner to the Consumer Products & Experiences Leadership Team and the Roald Dahl Story Company, responsible for leading the operational planning and analytics for the business's rapidly evolving strategic vision.

This position will report into the Director of Strategy Planning and Analysis for Consumer Products, Experiences & Franchises and reside within the company's Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities
• Own and support near-term and long-term P&Ls and cash forecasts for Consumer Products & Experiences organization (including the Roald Dahl Story Company)
• Manage headcount planning and people cost budgets in alignment to each team's and Netflix's strategic initiatives
• Perform financial scenario analysis to support business unit scaling efforts to assist senior management decision-making
• Own, develop, and iterate on financial KPIs, metrics, and dashboards
• Work with cross-functional teams to adapt and evolve financial framework(s) to properly support managerial and GAAP reporting
• Develop quarterly budget review presentations that consolidate and summarize the multiple line of businesses that make up the Consumer Products & Experiences organization
• Drive automation efforts toward dynamic financial planning tools

Qualifications
• Candidates are required to be highly analytical & strategic and be strong, effective communicatorsSound understanding of related accounting guidance preferred
• The successful candidate must display initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of senior-level executives. This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.

• Prior experience in financial planning & analysis in the entertainment industry, corporate finance, investment banking, or public accounting is preferred.
• Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of superior financial and strategic analysis and delivering actionable recommendations based on this analysis.

Requirements
• 8+ years of relevant experience. Prior experience in Media / Entertainment Financial Planning & Analysis preferred
• Experience leading and building teams
• Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis.
• Must have proficiency working with systems and automated reporting tools (i.e., Hyperion, SAP, Workday financials, etc.). Financial systems development experience is a plus
• Superior proficiency with Excel and complex financial modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 4-year degree in a relevant field with strong academic performance, MBA preferred
