The Marketing organization is looking for an experienced Brand Strategy Manager to help the company adopt brand belief systems that help grow and shape our brand equity around the world. This role will be part of the team responsible for charting the path for the Netflix brand worldwide.

This is an opportunity to bring our brand to life both internally and externally by building strategies, storytelling, and experiences to communicate and elevate our brand positioning. In this hybrid role of both creative and strategy - you will combine deep creative brand strategy and insights work with relationship building, education, and creativity.

In this role, you will:
• Create brand positioning & strategic frameworks that help communicate and implement our brand positioning globally
• Guide the development of design programs by articulating strategic rationales that simplify complexity, anticipate outcomes, and illustrate impact
• Identify and build standout brand narrative campaigns and messaging, including overseeing the development from brief through creative, including content and messaging
• Collaborate to drive alignment with cross-functional teams including consumer insights, product marketing, title marketing, communications, and marketing operations; aligning around central narratives and go-to-market strategies
• Ensure the consistency of Netflix voice and visual identity are maintained throughout collective marcomms, in partnership with peers on the team
• Partner with Consumer Insights team, leveraging research, data, and insights, translating into transformative brand outcomes
• Champion the heart of Netflix and show the impact brand systems can have internally

Experience and skills:
• 10+ years working in brand marketing with high-growth, global consumer, entertainment, and/or technology brands
• A background representing a blend of experiences across in-house, agency, and/or consultancy teams
• A wealth of experience with various brand strategy frameworks from various types of brands, to develop the right tools to improve the brand aptitude of the broader organization
• Strong communication and input abilities on both strategic and creative work grounded in business priorities
• Demonstrated ability to leverage research, insights, and analytics to inform brand outcomes
• Experience managing global cross-functional projects end-to-end
• Proven history leveraging rich bodies of data to inform brand behaviors and programs
• Must have excellent communication skills and judgment, who can proceed effectively through ambiguity
• Will demonstrate a bias towards action and be ready to roll up their sleeves to get the work done. Should be humble, curious, collaborative, and nimble.
• Ability to be based in Los Angeles offices and work in a hybrid capacity
