Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate leader for our Creative Marketing Production - Asset Management team, based in our Los Angeles office. Creative Marketing Production is a center-of-excellence for creative operations and production, working closely with Marketing & Communications groups at Netflix to transform ideas into reality and connect our stories with millions of people worldwide.

The Opportunity

With 214 million paid memberships in over 190 countries, Netflix is the world's leading streaming entertainment service and is powered by a work culture that's focused on high performance and continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity to shape the future of how we enable the best operational excellence on marketing campaigns, on both quality and scale, as we continue to aggressively grow our slate of local and global original, exclusive content.

The Role

In this role you will lead a team of highly talented Asset Managers and Specialists tasked with driving solutions at scale on how we manage promotional assets at Netflix. The scope of the team includes the sourcing and distribution of promotional assets, management and improvement of our DAM systems, whilst innovating towards operational excellence for asset management.

The ideal candidate is technically knowledgeable across asset types, systems, and technologies and excels at translating complexity into simplicity whilst working with highly geographically dispersed and matrixed teams. You are able to define best practices and frameworks, lead operational change management, and identify and implement cross-functional solutions that will drive measurable creative operations scale.

You are an inspiring and inclusive leader, with experience developing and coaching teams towards shared common goals, and with an ability to lead through influence and demonstrate strong judgment in the face of ambiguity. If you are someone who has a passion for both art and science, who thrives in leading teams to solve complex problems and has a proven track record of improving creative operations - through workflow improvements, technology and vendor solutions - then this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities
• Asset Management and Fulfilment Expert. Lead our Asset Management team by driving global business innovation and best practices in asset management and fulfillment both internally (for our teams, workflows, and tooling) and externally (for how we outsource tasks to vendors). Proven experience with managing and fulfilling large sets of assets in complex asset / data management environments
• Operational Strategist. Proactively identify business-critical issues and opportunities to improve how we track, produce, share, utilize, and traffic promotional assets at Netflix, balancing the short and long-term needs of multiple cross-functional Marketing and Communications teams. Define clear and meaningful problem statements and attainable goals, and deliver continuous measurable improvements on these.
• Team Leadership. Empower, support, and cultivate an organization of operational professionals. A natural team leader with a proven track record of articulating team purpose and priorities, and rallying teams around these.
• Global Thought Leader. Ability to balance country, functional, and global needs, rallying teams towards clear and measurable goals that shape our global production and operational strategies. Applies well tested methods or introduces new frameworks that are repeatable and solve for the macro vs the micro, and can clearly articulate these.
• Culture Building. Be a strong culture role model, leading by example in alignment with our principles of Inclusion, Freedom & Responsibility, and Context, Not Control, giving individual collaborators space and support to thrive at Netflix.

Experience & Skills
• Experience leading and working with geographically dispersed asset management teams, within the Marketing and/or Product space.
• Proven experience managing and fulfilling large sets of assets in complex asset management environments with strong knowledge of A/V and Artwork file types and specifications.
• Proven track record of activating and leading operational and technology change in complex organizations.
• Be both quantitative and qualitative. You have strong analytical acumen to evaluate complex systems and dissect problems. You will build confidence across disciplines, speak multiple professional languages, and translate needs into opportunities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional skills, with the ability to engage, listen, and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align from strategy through execution.
• Fluency in English is required. Local language skills are a plus.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and have a goal-oriented entrepreneurial mindset, driven to succeed and always up for a challenge!
