Have you heard? Netflix just launched gaming for our members around the globe! We are rapidly expanding new gaming offerings, so we are seeking a Senior Producer who is excited to help us lead the continued building and scaling of our efforts for our international audience.

In this role, you will be the localization production stakeholder for game-related program development as well as end-to-end games production for many pre-launch and live games simultaneously. On the program side, cross-functional collaboration and strong prioritization are vital. You will work with Product, Design, Engineering, different functions within Globalization, plus other cross-functional teams as you experiment, learn and deliver on operations and efficiency programs to support the new games venture. You will need to be ever curious and forward-looking to anticipate globalization needs and challenges across a number of areas of horizontal program assignment. You will contribute to building the infrastructure and best practices that enable consistently excellent localization and member experience. This is a highly innovative space for Netflix meaning your input will be vital through ideation, strategy and execution.

At the individual game level, you will use your localization and gaming experience to develop and manage relationships and strategies with game studios and vendors. You will develop and oversee the localization strategy, schedule, budget, and quality targets for your assigned games throughout the project lifecycle, and proactively identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks and blockers encountered along the way. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful launch of the Netflix experience and games internationally and then making sure we can repeat that at scale. Whether you are having strategic conversations with Netflix product or font conversations with studios, your focus will be the global member experience and how we can continue to build a better global product.

The environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and manage aggressive deadlines. You will need to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work through ambiguity comfortably and effectively. The right mix of organizational and communication skills is key to success. Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage priorities are also essential.

You will use your experience & education in:
• Defining the best localization strategy that guarantees the most effective and efficient launch of the Netflix experience in targeted languages
• Overseeing launch of individual game titles as well as Netflix product updates to ensure a seamless and thoughtful global member experience
• Fostering relationships and partnering with key stakeholders to develop localization strategy and roadmap
• Building relationships with external stakeholders, pre-empting blockers and driving delivery of high-quality localized games
• Driving language and feature launches & their prioritization plus analysis of large scale innovation projects specific to gaming
• Gathering, analyzing & reporting on the data; looking for opportunities to optimize on workflows, inefficiencies or customer issues that have been reported
• Establishing and ensuring high-quality localization standards, while overseeing the program for your component end to end, from Innovation to QC needs
• Evangelizing Globalization to all cross-functional stakeholders
• AB Test analysis, influence & Globalization participation that drives international acquisitions & viewership

Required Experience/Skills:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Languages, Localization, International studies, Business management, Technology management, Communication studies or equivalent experience as applicable
• 10-15+ years experience in senior level, buyer-side localization production, program management, and/or LQA, working on language launches, global game launches, creative content and/or subtitle localization
• Experience within gaming or entertainment is a plus
• Ability to lead large scale technical and cross-functional programs to delivery
• Working knowledge of industry-standard localization tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid in-depth knowledge of internationalization is a plus
• Fluency in a non-English language is a plus
