Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Manager, LATAM to support our regional finance team to continue scaling through systems and accounting alignment, and to work on the foundational preparation of the regional business needs. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick-thinking, demonstrate autonomy, be flexible, and be able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization, financial reporting, and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This demanding and fast-moving position requires someone who can always exercise good judgment and significant initiative.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has a strong accounting background and knowledge of external reporting and applicable regulations for statutory compliance across multiple countries (mainly but not limited to Mexico, Colombia, & Argentina);
• Is a hands-on: strategic thinker that also dives down into operational and execution aspects while focusing on the ''big picture'';
• Has strong analytical capabilities, demonstrated by attention to detail + love for data. You will produce high-quality work, scrutinizing significant numbers and system data to reconcile accounts and solve problems;
• Is an excellent team player who is adept at working as part of a larger team located in different locations inserted in a multicultural environment;
• Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
• Has a passion for accounting & financial reporting, and general finance;
• Is a self-star who can manage workload effectively and autonomously;
• Is comfortable multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting multiple tight deadlines.

You'll be responsible for:
• Driving operational process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicating effectively and building strong working relationships with external advisors and internal teams.
• Using analytics to design and set up standardized procedures and intelligent (systems/ automation) solutions on reporting requirements.
• Influencing and leading change with a positive, energetic, and inclusive style.
• Working with teams across multiple time zones to collaborate with our US and International offices.
• Overseeing multiple balance sheet accounts and the corresponding sub-ledger for varying levels of complexity and materiality;
• Understanding how systems work together to drive improvements and automation where possible. You will proactively identify gaps in current systems and lead cross-functional work to design, test, and roll out new techniques and tools;
• Exercising keen judgment and making sound decisions. You know how to listen to others, prioritize issues, and escalate matters with an adequate level of rationale;
• Partnering with outsourced providers for management and preparation of Statutory Financial Statements, statical surveys, and other secondary obligations as needed;
• Partnering with cross-functional colleagues across finance, tax, and IT organizations, providing financial and accounting guidance and leadership to deliver unique projects;
• Analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet (US GAAP, Local GAAP & IFRS) – Accruals, Prepayments, Variance analysis, etc.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent with in-depth accounting practical knowledge, CPA/IFRS preferred;
• Knowledge of IFRS (or IFRS equivalent) and/or any other local GAAP in LATAM;
• 8+ years relevant accounting experience, preferably at a large, fast-growing, multi-national company (Big Four experience is a plus);
• Experience with preparing statutory filing documentation for international entities;
• Experience collecting international accounting and tax requirements;
• Tech/Entertainment industry experience is a plus but not essential if you are enthusiastic about the position, have a strong accounting background, and are capable of learning quickly;
• Advanced English and Spanish are a must.
