Job Description
Netflix is seeking an Executive Assistant (EA) to support the company's Content Finance Controller. This position plays a very important role in supporting the overall Controllership organization, partnering closely with the organization's HR partners, to identify issues and solutions affecting both the morale and cultural health of the organization. This role aids in fostering an inclusive environment through accelerating operational deliverables, while applying a humanistic people first mindset and building cohesion across the team. The Content Controller's EA plays an important part in driving Content Finance Controllership leadership (i.e., CFC's direct staff) by managing agendas, holding team members accountable to action items, coordinating onsites/offsites and establishing working relationships inside and outside of the group.
The EA's responsibilities include managing complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, coordinating domestic and international travel & associated expenses, editing key memos and presentations, and harmonizing administrative support across Finance and Operations. A successful candidate is a strong communicator, highly detail-oriented, with the ability to make judgment calls and move quickly. Prior experience as an Executive Assistant in a fluid, fast-paced environment is a must. This position would be based in Los Angeles, CA.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactive management of calendar, travel, and expenses
• Scheduling complex and high-visibility meetings and calls, internally & externally
• Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports
• Creating presentations and documents using Google Suite
• The ability to assist with team projects and events as needed
• Coordinating large team offsite events & activities
• Maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives
• Supporting onboarding of new team members (eg logistics, etc)
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience managing multiple executive calendars
• Strong writing and editing skills
• High attention to detail
• Responsive and able to work flexibly across multiple time zones
• Able to stay calm under pressure and work on short deadlines
• Strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects, and switch easily between tasks
• Independent worker, with strong judgment and ability to make decisions quickly
• Discreet with the ability to maintain confidential information
• Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes
• High level of integrity and discretion
• Being tech-savvy is a huge plus.
