Job Description

The Production Strategy & Operations Team builds the connective tissue for the Netflix Studio, empowering our Production Management teams and cross-functional partners with the resources they need to do their best work. We partner across all teams in the Studio to define 'good process' and drive efficiency and innovation in an ever-evolving global production environment.

The Project Manager, LATAM (Latin America and Brazil) partners closely with the other regional Project Managers, along with the Global team in LA, to develop new tools and ways of working to assist internal production management teams and external partners and crew to reach operational efficiency during the production process.

Responsibilities:
• Support LATAM production management leadership and team with dedicated Project Management and roll out of projects and initiatives in support of alignment, innovation and consistent execution, globally and regionally
• Advocate for the LATAM perspective in global discussions and vice versa
• Manage regional data gathering, run reports and troubleshoot to ensure high levels of data coverage
• Organize, understand and prioritize the operational 'needs' and 'nice to haves' from all regional Production Management teams and feed them into overall global production management requirements
• Work with regional Production Management teams and cross-functional partners to identify critical business blockers and collaborating to solve and optimize these using new ways of working and technology
• Align, author and articulate Strategy & Operations Memos clearly outlining the problem statement, evangelizing operational priorities and partner with Product Managers and regional Production Management colleagues to develop hypothesis and solution(s)
• Aid in communication of key regional and global project and product updates and developments, in partnership with S&O Comms and Alignment lead
• Surface and socialize Data integrity issues across the Product Ecosystem, ensuring there are high levels of regional Data Coverage
• Maintain Talent and Vendor data pipeline and workflow with regional production management and cross functional teams who drive, assess and acquire the data to enable analysis
• Evaluate and forecast possible bottlenecks and capacity issues with key local Production vendor and BTL Talent
• Keep a pulse on the local production innovation space and new project management tools, socializing key findings and updates with the team and wider Org to build a global knowledge bank and trial new solutions
• Recruit and line manage any contingent talent needed for project-specific work

Skills & Qualifications:
• A passion for operations and a thirst to do more with less, to work smarter not harder
• MBA/BA/BS degree in relevant field
• Mid-to senior-level project management or management consultancy experience, ideally in a global product-centric environment.
• Experience of and passion for working in media and entertainment and ideally a knowledge of content production processes
• Working knowledge of industry standard project and change management tools; experience with productivity tools (Miro, Monday.com or similar), knowledge of Tableau, Zen Desk or Data Studio a plus
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements; an analytical mindset, curiosity and a preference towards solving for scale
• Bias to action, proactive & innovative by nature
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish proficiency essential. Portuguese a plus or an interest in learning highly desirable
• Experience working with teams across geographies and a passion for understanding languages, cultures and nuances of worldwide production practices
• Empathetic leadership style and change management experience, ensuring you take people of the journey with you when introducing new ways of working
• The ability to exemplify the Netflix culture and values, acting as an ambassador for the team and wider business
