Job Description

The Production Safety Center of Excellence Coordinator will support Netflix Productions across the world working within our Production Safety Centre of Excellence Team. This team is formed to develop, build and evolve our Production Safety Toolkit which underpins the activity of our global Production Safety Team. The Toolkit will include all the key elements of an Innovative Safety Programme, built on the amazing foundations of the Netflix Culture. These elements will include the ongoing development and implementation of the following project categories (sub-departments):

A. Professional Resource Development - Ongoing training and development opportunities for our Production Partners and Netflix colleagues);

B. Safety Program Innovation - Tools and apps to help our Productions more efficiently and easily plan safety into their projects.

C. Program Regionalization - Facilitate regional localization of our Professional Development and Innovation programs

You will provide thoughtful input into the development, deployment and constant evolution of this Toolkit with a focus on enabling it to work for our Global business, working closely with our Production Safety Team based in locations all over the world.You will consider how we approach all aspects of the Programme with a 'think global, act local'' mindset central to all the elements of the Toolkit enabling local safety to fit the needs and landscape of local production.

Key to the success of this role will be effective partnering within the Production Safety Team, the wider Netflix community and external experts.

Job Responsibilities:
• Supports the Safety Center of Excellence (CoE) by organizing all emerging and ongoing projects (including the cataloguing of development, pilot/testing and implementation efforts)
• Coordinates team meetings and deliveries
• Manages, tracks, and assists in updating all project documents (including Go Memos, presentations and project briefs/summaries)
• Manages the CoE team's landing pages
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with Netflix cross-functional stakeholders, including executives, department leads and staff, outside Production teams to deliver results, which are based on their needs
• Coordinates with Netflix Physical Production, Learning & Development and Events departments, as needed, to facilitate CoE training sessions, outreach, roundtables, etc.
• Works independently without direct management supervision
• Creates a positive atmosphere of professionalism and support
• Performs any other duties necessary to support the department and company
• Provide CoE consulting services on behalf of the CoE, as directed, including:

- Assists in evaluating concepts and tools, training syllabii, pitches, etc., as part of the development, testing and implementation of the following CoE efforts:

- Professional Resource Development;

- Safety Program Innovation; and

- Program Regionaliztion

- Attends Netflix cross-functional stakeholder meetings to facilitate a grounded understanding of their needs and better facilitate program initiatives

- Collaborates in recommending and implementing improvements to CoE concepts and projects

- Coordinates training for CoE ''clients'' as program tools and programs are developed and rolled out

- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with industry safety organizations, representatives and governmental regulatory agencies, as necessary, to ensure CoE programs and tools align with industry requirements and standards

Qualifications:
• 3-5 years experience in a health and safety environment, production and/or education, research and development role
• Team player with a highly developed ability to organize and supervise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Great communicator who can build strong working relationships with internal and external partners and vendors.
• Ability to be discreet and handle confidential information
• Proficiency in GSuite. AirTable, Smartsheets, Enhesa, Slack a plus
• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production safety issues and emerging trends
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to take educated risks and a fundamental curiosity that finds comfort in both thinking strategically AND acting tactically
• General knowledge of globally analogous , regional and local health & safety and environmental regulations
• Good understanding of motion picture and television production processes
• The ability to travel is preferred
