Job Description

As Netflix develops its content slate around the globe, production volume at this scale creates unique challenges and opportunities within the live action media supply chain. Our needs and requirements are already outpacing–or likely will–what's currently available within a given market. The Netflix Production Strategy & Resource Planning (''PSRP'') team is a global resource that enables Netflix to achieve its operational goals and creative pursuits through local market analyses, capacity assurance, and resource optimization. We ensure our production partners have access to the products and services required to produce the best content possible, by supporting vendor domains including production rentals, virtual production, picture & sound post-production, scoring stages, and VFX.

The Production Business Development team within PSRP comprises subject matter experts who are responsible for executing transactions within the various vendor domains. We are seeking a Manager, Post-Production, who is responsible for analyzing these challenges and opportunities within the post-production vertical, as well as providing strategic support through oversight of deal evaluation, strategic planning, competitive analysis, and execution. Working closely with regional leadership around the globe and other cross-functional partners, this individual will develop and employ a strategic framework to guide decision making and carry out key initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Support the global post-production services vertical, including market assessments and sizing of new opportunities, specific company evaluations, partnership structures and terms, and emerging technology reviews
• Develop and maintain an understanding of customers, competitors, partners, business models, market sizing, and industry trends; synthesize research to create meaningful insight that supports Netflix's overall strategy and planning with regards to capacity assurance
• Prepare and present recommendations, including analyses, financial models, deal theses, and/or conclusions, in a clear, concise, and impactful way; use your findings to help shape the long-term vision for reserving capacity within the post-production services vertical
• Structure bespoke transaction terms with suppliers and partners and oversee the execution and deal utilization. Determine return on investment and/or efficiency gains realized from these initiatives
• Collaborate with other functional areas in discovery and decision making to ensure all perspectives are being considered and needs of the business are being addressed
• Manage multiple projects and teams as a project lead through goals, deliverables, feedback, resource balancing, and timing expectationsCompile thoughtful post-mortem analyses to determine areas for optimization and improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners, vendors, and industry experts
• Serve as a post-production resource within PSRP to advise on industry-specific business and operational dynamics, challenges, risks, and opportunities that affect the post-production industry on a macro level

Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience working as an executive in the post-production industry, with knowledge of budgets, vendor capabilities, customer / vendor engagement process, and workflows. Candidates will also possess strong vendor relationships
• High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving; skilled in developing solutions and creatively applying them to operational challenges and limitations within the live action media supply chain
• Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis; mastery of Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides
• Highly analytical and effective communicator who is able to perform in-depth strategic analysis and provide recommendations with thoughtful support; adept at writing, facilitating and presenting analyses
• Motivated, disciplined, organized, and able to work autonomously, while also possessing ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across multiple functions, skills, and locations
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can manage and operate in ambiguous situations, exhibiting the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Passionate about our culture and values in the workplace
