As Netflix continues to grow, we are looking for an Associate to join the Product Strategy, Planning & Analysis (SP&A) team supporting the Creative Production (CP) and Dubbing functions within Product and Studio Operations. These teams are responsible for promotional asset creation (video, artwork), creative strategy for our titles, content theme analysts & taggers, and linguistic & cultural adaptation of Netflix content. Their goal is to create experiences that help people to discover and connect with the stories they'll love, both on and off our service. If you've ever seen a Netflix billboard or a trailer, chosen a title on our service based on the artwork or the description, or watched a Netflix show with subtitles or dubs, you've experienced the work of Creative Production and Dubbing.

Netflix derives a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach it takes to managing all aspects of the business, and this is equally applicable to CP and Dubbing's strategy and operations. Leadership relies heavily on SP&A as a key contributor to strategic development, creative and operational excellence, and informing important business decisions with actionable data-driven insights.

In this role, you will need to be a highly analytical, strong problem solver, and an effective and influential communicator with cross-functional partners who have different backgrounds, levels, experiences, and native languages. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and be comfortable operating autonomously.

you will lead rigorous analyses on the operational effectiveness of the CP and Dubbing teams, quantifying the impact of strategic initiatives and identifying next frontiers to drive innovation and scale.

This individual contributor role will report to a Senior Manager in Product SP&A and be based out of our Los Gatos offices, with periodic travel to the Los Angeles offices and globally. In addition, this role requires close cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Data Science & Engineering and Creative Production & Promotion (supports tooling/solutions).

Responsibilities:
• Establish a trusted relationship with the Creative Production, Dubbing, Product and Data Science & Engineering leaders across the world to guide broader team strategy and prioritization of global initiatives
• Perform thorough analyses around initiatives, including opportunity size, success measures, ROI determination, identification of trends, etc. to inform decisions and identify new opportunity areas within and across teams
• Support US-specific analytical needs, and coordinate ex-US analytical support with ex-US based CP SP&A team members
• Partner with Product and Engineering to identify, quantify, and prioritize tools/solutions to optimize execution and drive efficiencies
• Translate data-driven insights into actionable take-aways for cross-functional partners
• Drive creation of deliverables and present findings to senior business partners

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in a highly analytical environment - top management consulting firm, corporate/strategic planning, and/or analytics in an OTT/entertainment/digital media company, or similarly demanding functions in which modeling, strategic analysis, and operational optimization is essential
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to use business intelligence tools (SQL and Tableau), build spreadsheet models, and sort through complex data to crystallize business implications
• Strong project management and great collaboration skills across multiple functional areas
• Skilled at crafting a data-driven story and presenting to senior management
• Curious, motivated, disciplined, and able to work autonomously with a high degree of freedom and responsibility
• Able to remain highly organized in a loosely structured and fast-paced environment
• Experience and comfort working across multiple cultures with partners who may not speak English natively
