Job Description
Netflix is the world's leading streaming entertainment service with over 222 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, documentaries, and feature films across a wide variety of genres and languages. The Netflix experience is available across a wide variety of devices such as Smart TVs, set-top boxes, game consoles, and mobile phones.

Netflix's growth has been propelled by strong partnerships with many of the world's leading telcos and consumer electronics companies. As we continue to push for growth in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, we are looking for a Manager to join the Growth and Partnerships Strategy & Analysis (S&A) team based out of Japan. This role is focused on analyzing Partnership opportunities in the region as well as supporting growth initiatives in the market through the optimization of our local pricing and plan offers. Netflix derives a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach it takes to manage all aspects of the business, and this is equally applicable to our Partnerships, Plans and Pricing.

The Growth and Partnerships SP&A team play a critical role in determining the growth strategy in the region. On the one hand, our team evaluates partnership opportunities and analyzes the performance of existing partnerships. The most common types of partnerships with local operators are bundles and/or set-top box integrations. These partnerships impact millions of members, and our analyses play a critical role in the growth and strategy of Netflix in the region. During negotiations, we provide guidance to the Business Development team using data and analysis. When partnerships are launched, we monitor their performance and search for best practices and areas of improvement. Finally, we work closely with our Product and Partner Engagement teams to determine which changes in the Netflix experience could improve the partnerships' impact. On the other hand, we contribute to the broader growth strategy in the region, providing local guidance on price and plan strategy across markets.
