Associate - Corporate Finance, Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

The Corporate FP&A team at Netflix is responsible for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. We derive a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach we take to managing the company, and the Corporate FP&A team plays a key role in this area. Senior management heavily depends on the Corporate FP&A group to accurately track trends in performance and identify opportunities for improvement, and the outcome of our group's analyses plays a critical role in the important and strategic decision making for the company.

The position is based in our corporate headquarters in Los Gatos and reports into the Director of Corporate SP&A.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Supporting financial models including the global long-term P&L and cash flow forecasts
• Working closely with other FP&A teams to consolidate a comprehensive global P&L and develop a narrative on the company's performance
• Developing presentations that summarize data and facilitate decision-making for senior management including the CFO, Head of Investor Relations, and the Board of Directors
• Performing financial scenario analysis to support senior management's strategic decision making
• Working with partners in Accounting and Financial Operations to automate reports
• Coordinating monthly and quarterly reconciliations for the forecast vs. actuals

Qualifications
• 2 - 5 years of experience in a highly analytical environment; prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or fast-paced FP&A / Strategic Finance role is preferred
• Extensive experience conducting quantitative/ financial analysis and developing recommendations based on this analysis
• Strong track record of identifying key questions; defining, performing and coordinating analyses; and communicating findings in a clear and concise way
• Extremely proficient with Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience working with large data sets, SQL and Tableau knowledge a plus
• Experience working with financial planning systems such as Anaplan, Essbase a plus
• Bachelor's Degree
