Job Description

The Role:

Netflix Studios is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for the Physical Assets & Archives team based primarily at Shepperton Studios, UK with potential travel required to additional Netflix locations in the region. The role focuses on managing the organization, logistics and storage of physical inventory within the warehouses, working closely with both external vendors, production crews and internal cross-functional teams.

This is an exciting and challenging position with an opportunity to develop as the studio grows. The role requires someone who enjoys physical labour as well as data management and can work autonomously. They are a proactive, positive thinker, who is able to exercise good judgment with strong written and verbal communication. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, passionate, self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organization and space management.

Responsibilities:
• Establish the Netflix warehouse facilities as the satellite home of UK archives and reuse base of operations
• Extend best practices and policies to all warehouse footprints in the UK
• Ensure warehouse/s are operating safely, securely and sustainably
• Oversee management of 3rd party storage facilities
• Manage internal databases for inventory stored at the warehouse/s
• Organize, categorize and deploy physical assets relevant to their lifecycle status (archival, reuse, disposal)
• Support the Physical Assets & Archives, Marketing, Events and Awards teams with coordination of physical asset loans for promotional purposes
• Coordinate with Logistics team for all international and local shipments as needed
• Understand warehouse space, communicate limitations or opportunities as they ariseCoordinate all approved collections and deliveries coming in and out of the warehouse/s
• Work with vendors and crew for final disposition of non-archival items of storage facilities (donation, disposal, sale)

Qualifications and abilities:
• 3+ years feature film/television production experience, including warehouse and/or assets management
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Mail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with technology, SyncOnSet ''Continuity'' and ''Asset Hub'', FileMaker Pro and BitFit beneficial but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters
• Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
• Understanding of how to prioritize requests and respond accordingly
• Aptitude to develop and continue learning to ensure best practices
• Capable of physically moving objects that may weigh up to approximately 25lbs or more with the use of equipment and additional assistance as needed
