This is a newly created position based in the Philippines. You will be the main point of contact for APAC payroll inputs, staff claims, and timekeeping. In this role, you have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with regional team members in Singapore and the global payroll team in the US. The successful candidate must display natural intellectual curiosity, strong organisational and processing skills, and the desire to drive improvements and continuously simplify workflows.

Your Mission:

This role will join the APAC team and be responsible for payroll inputs and timekeeping to third parties, validation of changes in the payroll register, preparing and posting journal entries. You will be the first point of contact managing and closing the payroll tickets through Zendesk. You will have various regular and ad-hoc pay and expense cycles to be processed promptly and accurately.

This role will allow you to support assigned countries' projects, update workflows and workbooks and perform other tasks to achieve operational excellence and help make our employee experience even better.

The Specifics:
• You will be working as part of the global payroll team reporting to Core Finance using the Workday System with a focus on APAC countries.
• You will own the payroll changes process and review the input in the payroll register and delivery per the approved timelines.
• You are responsible for managing third-party payroll vendor on the output of the payroll register (including stock option plan), government agencies payments and receipts with integrity, accuracy, completeness and compliance with the local legislation.
• According to the global payroll financial reporting and auditing timeline, you are accountable for the country's payroll journal entries.
• You are the subject matter expert managing and closing the payroll tickets in Zendesk for APAC countries within 48 hours.

What We Need:
• Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance / Tax / Accounting (or similar field) preferred
• Payroll Processing - Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in timekeeping, providing input changes to third party vendors. Knowledge of APAC countries payroll. the Philippines.
• Overtime - Some experience in liaise with employees on timekeeping matters and managing timekeeping closing for payroll processing. Experience in using Workday Timekeeping Module.
• Payroll Accounting - With hands-on experience in preparing journal entries
• Technical Skills - Above-average use of Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Microsoft Excel and Word, and Workday.
• Detail-Focused - You have a love of numbers and paying attention to details
• High Volume Transactions - You are not afraid to check, prepare and process high volume transactions.
• Multi-Task - You can multitask and know which is a priority to start and stop and continue to complete the task
• Adaptable - You are prepared to get yourself comfortable in an environment of ''nothing set to stone'' to groove into what is needed and maintain integrity, compliant, and accuracy to ensure payroll and accounting are correct
