Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Assist in the management of all development and current original alternative content and work side-by-side with our creative executives to help deliver high quality programming to our Entertainment and streaming businesses.

Responsibilities:
• Work with Executive Producers, EIC's and Network Executives from project conception through, and including, final delivery of all program materials.
• Manage the budgeting, scheduling, and project-specific needs of alternative content for delivery to network.
• Work in tandem with Business Affairs from the deal phase through to final delivery.
• Work with Finance to address cash flow needs, breakage, etc. for all projects.
• Liaise between producers and all internal departments (i.e. Business & Legal, Marketing, Promos, Network Operations, etc.).
• Ensure timely delivery of all necessary elements.
• Work in tandem with legal affairs to approve insurance-related decisions, labor, diligence, etc.
• Review Program Scheduling rollouts and ensure production readiness of all series, in addition to providing Greenlight to Air projections as requested.
• Facilitate all tax incentives/foreign compliance. As applicable.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external producers and studio executives.
• Attend weekly internal meetings with various internal departments to update on production status.
• Manage the duties of additional staff within the Production and Operations group.
• Explain production and technical standards, show formatting, deal memos, contracts, financial reporting, insurance, production and safety policies, and wrap requirements to all third-party production companies and studios.
• Review specifications manual for accuracy before distribution to external partners.
• Review cost reports for accuracy and conduct audits of project spending.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• 8+ years of alternative television production management experience either at a network, TV studio, streaming service, or television production company, or as a Freelance Producer.
• Freelance Producers must have 5+ years' experience as a Production Supervisor, UPM, or Line Producer in television content.

Desired Characteristics:
• Proven understanding of production workflow with hands-on experience in alternative production.
• Clearly demonstrated ability to analyze budgets, schedules, and full-scale production plans for a variety of program types (i.e. pilots, presentations, series, etc.)
• Familiarity with financial incentives in various locations for both domestic and international production.
• Organized and resourceful with excellent project management and accounting skills with a clear track record of meeting budgets and deadlines.
• Proven ability to problem-solve and collaborate with senior leaders, creative partners, and peers across a highly matrixed, fast-paced, innovative, and highly energetic corporate culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to influence and drive initiatives across divisional and functional lines at all levels.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills and strategically delegate or be hands-on as needed.
• Successful working relationships with television producers, studios, and production companies.
