Division Profile:

NBCUniversal Global Distribution is responsible for the sales and distribution of NBC Universal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in over 200 territories across the globe, its revenue portfolio exceeding $5Bn per year. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. NBCUniversal Global Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.
Overview:

The Vice President, Finance will be responsible for managing and optimizing Global Television Distribution Finance's processes and systems, with a primary focus on the data flow of revenues, budgets, pacings, and forecasts from all NBCU sales accounts and territories. This role will partner with colleagues in the Global Television Distribution Sales and Information Technology (IT) organizations to integrate legacy systems and processes with new information technology platforms.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead and guide cross-functional teams during the implementation of a new Opportunity Management system and the integration with current Finance systems to build best-in-class financial processes and reporting capabilities.
• Ensure the timely and accurate flow of business-critical information between Global Television Distribution's Finance and Sales systems.
• Develop strong working relationships and work closely with Global Television Distribution senior management and other functional areas to establish priorities and deliver process improvements. Must have strategic insight into business needs, develop appropriate operational plans and adjust or align priorities as the business requires.
• Monitor feedback, issues, and future business requirements. Lead the build-out of enhancements to the new Opportunity Management system, particularly for Finance and Sales.
• Liaise with Headquarters and Content stakeholders (as needed) to optimize flow of financial information. Work across business units and assess how data can be accessible and most useful.
• At the request of senior management throughout the organization, produce ad-hoc reports to support internal and external reporting requirements.
• Develop staff and managers to help them achieve career goals.
• Additional duties as directed by management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in Finance operations.

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Desired Characteristics:
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree a plus.
• Excellent analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and passion for business process improvement.
• Ability to distil large volumes of data into summarized formats or dashboards.
• Strong presentation skills and executive presence.
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Experience with Salesforce platforms is a major plus.
• Knowledge of Television Distribution is a major plus.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
